This is a list of the main changes that have been made to the LINKPlanner application since version 6.0.0

Changes in version 6.2.1

  • PMP 450

    • Added carrier aggregation for PMP 450v 4x4 to the PMP side of the LINKPlanner. Support for multiple Component Carriers in a single Carrier will be added in the future.

Bug Fixes

  • Ensured for PMP 450 SM products, the DL/UL Maximum Mod Mode dropdown list is updating as per the MIMO Rate Adapt parameter selection.

  • Updated cnPulse device for 450v 4x4 SM radios

  • Fixed the issue of Network Device not refreshing after deleting Subscriber Modules attached to it.

  • Fixed errors associated with site selection in the map when creating viewsheds

  • Fixed bug saving Golay settings for 60 GHz cnWave Network Devices.

  • Fixed a bug in the table views where the Delete button is not always enabled correctly.

  • Fixed 60 GHz cnWave performance summary when there are errors on a sector.

  • Fixed issue when editing the network plan in Terragraph Planner.

  • Ensured that the error messages are displayed when the empty project or files are imported to the LINKPlanner.

  • Corrected default SM Receive Target Level values as per the product selection.

  • Prevent duplicate mesh links from being created.

  • Ensured that the select all in the list and table views is applied only to the visible rows.

  • Extract the boundary data from a Terragraph Planner KML/KMZ file so that the original file is not written to disk. This prevents possible security exploits and fixes issues with incompatible file names.

  • Corrected issues when exporting and displaying projects in Google Earth

  • PMP 450

    • Added initial support for PMP 450v 4x4 ND and SM product to the PMP side of the LINKPlanner, using existing single carrier functionality. Carrier aggregation will be added in future releases.

  • Viewshed

    • Added High Resolution Viewshed feature which uses lidar data if available for the region

  • cnWave 5G Fixed

    • Updated sensitivity levels for cnWave 5G Fixed to Release 3.1.1.

  • 60 GHz cnWave

    • Included interference field on the mesh link panel when interference levels are set on DN. Interference levels can now be adjusted on the individual mesh links.

  • General

    • Added Calc Tilt feature for the PMP Network Device.

    • Added ability to scale the display size of the PMP ND sectors on the map without affecting SM Range connectivity.

    • Added Reflection Editor capability on path profile for PTP Links.

    • Added interpolating heights or obstructions in a given range and inserting points in a defined interval along the path features to the path profile editor.

    • Displaying warning to the user if LINKPlanner truncating long names while importing the project.

Bug Fixes

  • Removed Tolly Mix frame size option for PTP 850E.

  • Corrected PTP 850E throughput values to show Layer 2 the same as the other products, rather than Layer 1.

  • Corrected Canadian compliance of 11 GHz Cambium Networks 4ft C1000082D049 antenna

  • Corrected PMP 450 family sensitivity levels for MIMO-A modulation modes

  • Fixed the issue of PMP add Network Devices wizard failing for the ePMP product selection.

Bug Fixes

    • Prevented height above clutter options being used when Clutter is not enabled

    • Ensured that pending or failed viewsheds are only displayed on relevant project

  • Update Save/Discard icon colors correctly when saving a project from the main menu

  • Display limit warnings appropriately in the UI when adding sites, Network Devices and links

  • Persist user selected column order in sites tables, within the project and between projects as for other tables

  • Corrected PTP tables to use correct default columns and logical sorting, rather than sorting by string

  • Prevented the Delete option being active on links in a read only project

  • Corrected 60 GHz cnWave adjacent sector warning so that it only applies if sectors are on the same channel

  • Ensured that the ND templates are recalculated correctly after a software update or project level recalculation

  • Modified the CSV export precision to match the table view precision

  • Prevented UI crashing when toggling from PTP links to table view

  • Prevented user entering negative IP Required limits in Performance Summary

  • Improved the Path Profile vertical scale labels

  • Ensured that clutter height edits are used correctly in the Best Server Analysis

  • Matched the SM antenna polarity with that at the ND for cnReach single polarization antennas
